Responsible for producing business requirements for internal web and desktop applications to increase efficiency of company operations. Organizing discussions with 1-10 stakeholders at a time to analyze and agree on requirements.
- Created business requirements for the Non-Refundable Tickets application by guiding the travel team including the senior manager, travel supervisor and senior accounting analyst to figure out what they needed and why they needed it. Project was successful and resulted in $7,000 saving in the first three months.
- Worked with the project team, that included managers and directors, to complete the purchase of new Revenue Recognition software within the tight deadline given by the CEO, making this the quickest COTS project Jack Henry has ever done.
- Identified and championed enhancements for the JHAStore website and physical store from conversations with the Corporate Procurement Specialist. The enhancements were delivered successfully and reduced the number of phone calls from customers to the store owner as well as reduced over all shipping costs for orders.
Quality Assurance Analyst June 2012 – July 2013
Responsible for developing testing strategies to find bugs and approve development completion for final sign off, to ensure only quality software is developed.
- In charge of completing a final testing review of the JHA Directory application. Discovered over 50 bugs that were reported to the department director and general manager which resulted in a successful redesigned and move to production.
- Created testing strategies to discover bugs as well as collaborated with the developer to create an intuitive Patch Management application. The application was completed and delivered to banking customers on time, to display a collection of Microsoft patches that are available to download.
